Job Description – Marketing Account Manager 

 

Job Role 

  • Overseeing a selection of consumer and B2B accounts
  • Client facing, with regular meetings and direct client liaison
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplined team

Reporting to

  • Managing Director

Commitment 

  • 3 days per week 
  • Working from home 

Skills / experience required 

  • Good customer service skills / interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about / experience of the food industry
  • Innovative and forward-thinking
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good team player
  • Established experience of working across a number of marketing disciplines
  • Flexible approach to work
  • New business generation skills 
  • Good network of relevant contacts

Responsible for

  • Ensuring all client activities are progressed as per monthly contact report
  • Day to day contact with key clients
  • Liaison with design, social media and PR teams
  • Sourcing quotes for jobs eg design, photography
  • Photoshoot briefs
  • Development of strong activity plans and execution
  • Case study development
  • Liaising with Financial Controller ref billing for specific projects / expenses
  • Overseeing all client reports
  • Evaluation of client activity and results
  • Progression of new business pitch documents

 

Job Description – Social Media Manager 

 

Job Role 

  • Handling social media programmes for a select number of clients
  • Progressing activity across all key social media platforms
  • Influencer liaison

Reporting to

  • Managing Director

Commitment 

  • 2-3 days per week 
  • Working from home 

Skills required 

  • Excellent social media skills
  • Understanding of social media advertising and best practice 
  • Good customer service skills / interpersonal skills
  • Creative
  • Good working knowledge of Canva or other platforms
  • Good working knowledge of HootSuite and Later – or similar
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Innovative and forward thinking
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good team player
  • Passionate about the food marketing industry / proven experience of the sector
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Good network of relevant contacts

Responsible for

  • Ensuring the agreed no of social media posts are progressed as per client plan
  • Ensuring the agreed no of influencers are approached as per client plan
  • Input into social media plans for new client prospects / development of social media plans
  • Creative recommendations for new approaches to encourage strong social media coverage
  • Input into client reports
  • Evaluation of social media activity
  • Day to day contact with account handling team
  • Liaising with Financial Controller ref billing for specific projects / expenses
  • Creation of social media guidance and tone of voice for clients
  • Monitoring best practice
